What is the pH of Px coffee?Updated 2 months ago
Just to clarify pH is only a property of liquids so we can only really report the pH of a standard serving once brewed in a cup. However, our coffee has a pH similar to most regular coffees, typically around 5.0. Since it is a natural product, there is batch to batch variations in composition.
Given that many of the organic "acids" in coffee degrade with heat, the darker roasts tend to be even less acidic.
However, many people who experience sensitivity with regular coffee have found Px to be easier on their system, likely due to its gentler effect on the body compared to caffeine. This includes a calmer effect on things such as acid reflux, which many folks struggle with when consuming traditional coffee.
